Dr John Ebnezar was felicitated by the oldest orthopedic association in India, the Bombay Orthopedic Society on December 4th 2016 at its 61st Annual Conference-WIROC 2017 for the Padma Shri and for the outstanding contribution in the field of Indian Orthopedics. He is the first orthopedic surgeon from Karnataka to be so felicitated. After him Dr Rajashekaran,Dr Parag Sancheti,Dr Ram Prabhoo,Dr Ram Chadda and Dr Milind Kulkarni were also felicitated in the same function.
