1. FIRST WORLD RECORD: DR JOHN EBNEZAR'S FIRST GUINESS WORLD RECORD IN WRITING IN 2010

Dr John Ebnezar established a new Guinness World Record of most books written in one year by an individual by writing and publishing eight books between 15 February 2009 and 28 January 2010.

The previous world record was in the name of a Japanese author was six by Shinichi Kobayashi (Japan), who wrote and published the novels between 1 October 2007 and 15 September 2008

2. SECOND WORLD RECORD: Creating a New World Record in Writing, its theme and motto

 

I am happy to inform you that I have created a new world record in the field of book writing.  The existing Guinness World Record in the most books written in one year by an individual is 52 by Ryuho Okawa (Japan), who wrote and published the books between 23 November 2009 and 10 November 2010.

 

Now this record has been bettered by me as I have now authored 108 books in a single year having written and published the books between January 29th 2011 to January 15th 2012.  These books are medical education books and is written for a common man to empower him with awareness and knowledge concerning orthopedics.  Everything in the field of orthopedics is covered from trauma to diseases in about 9 series. 

 

This is my second world record attempt and the First Guinness Record Created by me was  for most books written in one year by an individual for having written and published eight books between 15 February 2009 and 28 January 2010.  The previous world record in this category was in the name of a Japanese author Shinichi Kobayashi (Japan), who wrote and published six books between 1 October 2007 and 15 September 2008. 

 

Two World Records in Writing is Undprecedented:  Pride of India

 

I was the first orthopedic surgeon in the world to have created a Guinness World Record in the field of book writing in the year 2010. This was bettered by Ryuho Okawa of Japan in the year 2011 and now I have bettered his record and have created a new world record in book writing for the year 2012 with 108 books.  Thus I become the first orthopedic surgeon in the world to create two world records in the field of book writing.  This is a matter of great pride to our country and Karnataka for never before any orthopedic surgeon has gone on to create two world records that too in the field of writing.

 

First of its kind in the world in health education for common man

 

And moreover these 108 books are meant for common public and no doctor in any field of medicine or surgery has ever attempted to bring so many books for public education.  American Orthopedic Society has about 100 online orthopedic education materials that too contributed by many surgeons and not by an individual surgeon.  For the first time in the world more than 100 books authored by a single orthopedic surgeon has been made available for the public covering wide spectrum of orthopedic related problems.  Health education books are of more relevance in our country since internet accessibility is not that widespread as in western countries and most of the online materials are unsolicited and could be harmful if implemented without expert advice. 

 

Books to be released by The Chief Minister

 

Shri Jagadish Shettar, Hon’ble Chief Minister, Government of Karnataka has consented to release and dedicate all these 108 titles to the common public.  He has told us that he will suggest us a suitable date and time for the event. 

 

How this Guinness World Record Attempt is different? It is not for personal glory but has a motto and a purpose?

 

Motto:  Health education regarding orthopedic related problems

 

Theme:  “STOP ARTHRITIS BEFORE IT STOPS YOU!”

 

Unlike attempts by others in the category of book writing, this world record is associated with a strong social theme of public education regarding orthopedic problems and also to spread public awareness around the world about Saving Knees From Crippling Osteoarthritis, A Burning Modern International Health Problem that is far worse Than Many Modern Major Health Issues.
