In this section,we are presenting to you some of the most challenging and difficult cases, who underwent treatment for various orthopedic problems and found Dr John Ebnezar’s treatment extremely satisfying and fulfilling. Most of these patients have been treated elsewhere and have come to Dr John Ebnezar finding no relief or failure in the earlier treatment”

PATIENTS WITH LOWBACKACHE WITH DISC PROLAPSE,WITH FAILED PHYSIOTHERAPY AND ADVISED DISC SURGERY

Here is a group was of Low backache, who had a failed treatment history or were offered surgery and were unwilling to undergo it. For Most of them Dr John Ebnezar was their last resort to find a cheap and effective alternative to various failed treatment methods.”

Case 1.

Manjunath (Name Changed)
who came to me for the treatment of Disc Prolapse at Multiple levels. He underwent physiotherapy at various centers. There was no relief from pain and his suffering. Based on the MRI report he was advised discectomy. He refused and came to me for treatment. He underwent 3 weeks of Wholistic Treatment for the Back and was extremely satisfied with the outcome. His surgery was averted and he is back to his IT work with full gutso.

THERE IS A MYTH THAT A PATIENT WITH DISC PROLPASE SHOULD NOT DO FORWARD BENDING. LOOK AT THE MRI WHICH SHOWS DISC PROLPASE AND SEE THE FULL FORWARD BENDING THE PATIENT IS ABLE TO DO!!

BEFORE TREATMENT CLINICAL FINDINGS

Case No 2:

Zubeda (Name changed). She was just 28 years old and had an acute low backache due to fall and had developed a massive disc prolapse at the level of L5-S1. She hailed from West Bengal and had consulted many Orthopedic and Neurosurgeons. Initially they advised rest and physiotherapy and when there was no relief she was suggested to undergo surgery for removal of her disc. Her parents and she was reluctant as she was too young and was about to get married and they thought that surgery at that stage in her life would adversely affect her marital life. She came to me as a last resort and had decided that if I also tell surgery she would undergo it. I am also a spine surgeon and would love to do surgerries. But I felt ethically she needs to be given a chance of a good conservative treatment considering her circumsutances. As she had a failed history of physiotherapy, I put her on the Wholistic Back Rehab Program for 21 sessions and she improved dramatically. She has recovered completely and has gone back to Calcutta with dreams in her eyes of settling down in life by getting married. This was a case which no surgeon would have treated her non-surgically that too when the MRI showed such massive disc prolapse. I have the satsifaction of averting a surgery on a young unmarried lady and restoring her confidence in good ethical mnedical care.

IN THIS CASE I AGAIN DISPELLED THE MYTH THAT A PATIENT WITH DISC PROLPASE SHOULD NOT DO FORWARD BENDING. LOOK AT HER MRI WHICH SHOWS SUCH A MASSIVE DISC PROLPASE AND LOOK AT HER DOING FULL FORWARD BENDING!!

I could achieve this with Wholistic Therapy which I feel is an extremely good and scientific concept in treating chronic orthopedic disorders.

She left extremely satisfied and vowed to refer many patients suffering from the same problem to him for Wholistic Treatment. Here too see the amount of forwarding bending a patient with multiple disc prolapse is able to achieve with wholistic treatment!!!
