• Founder President of the Physically Handicapped and Paraplegic Charitable Trust of Karnataka ® in 1996. Through this organisation lot of social and charity activities are being organised.

• Founder President of the Karnataka Orthopaedic Academy ® in 1997. Only orthopaedic surgeon in the country and the world to have an orthopaedic academy of his own.

• Treasurer of Vaidya Kala Ranga (a cultural forum for doctors).

• Founder Chairman of the Bangalore Holistic Orthopaedic Center. The first and the only holistic orthopaedic centre in India and the world.

• Alumni of Ramani’s School of Spinal Surgery. Only second orthopaedic surgeon from Karnataka to get this honour.

• Trauma:
        Specialised in all types of trauma care in orthopaedics including interlocking nailing. Has worked as senior specialist in orthopaedics at Victoria Hospital attached to the prestigious Bangalore Medical College from 1992 to 1998.

• Spine Surgery:
        Special area of interest. Trained under the world renowned spinal surgeon Dr. P.S. Ramani of Mumbai.

• Sports Medicine:
        Currently undergoing specialised course in sports medicine from the New South Wales University of Australia.

• Holistic Orthopaedics:
         Founder orthopaedic surgeon in the world of this concept. Established & running the Bangalore Holistic Orthopaedic Centre, the first of its kind in the country.

• Teaching Experience:
        Over 10 years for both under-graduate (UG) and post-graduate (PG) students in orthopaedics at Bangalore Medical College and Devaraj Urs Medical College.

Hobbies

   Dr. John Ebnezar is the only Orthopaedic Surgeon in Karnataka who can give a professional performance in singing. Apart from singing, he can play many instruments like Tabala, Harmonium, Key board, Congo, Bango, etc.

Formed and was head of the Medichestra, a Karnataka Medical College Orchestra team.

Passed English typing senior examination with 83% marks.

Conducted a cultural programme on Nov 7th 1999 at Taj Residency, Bangalore for the annual day celebration of the Bangalore Obstetrics and Gynaecology Socity.
