Karnataka Orthopaedic Academy

Conducted a National Conference and Workshop in Spine Surgery at Bangalore in the month of June 1997 at Victoria Hospital, Bangalore. The course Director was Dr. PS Ramani, world renowned Spine Surgeon and Dr. Shekar Bojaraj of PD Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai. The course was attended by over 150 delegates and was a huge success.

Karnataka Orthopaedic Academy’s Health Education Programmes

	On July 2nd & 16th 2000	Conducted a Public Health Programme on Lowbackache at Parimala Hospital with the help of Karnataka Orthopaedic Academy. Such a course is first of its kind in Karnataka and India.
	On 4th day of 2001	Conducted a CME Program for General Public on Lowbackache at the Parimala Hospital.
	In Sept 2003	Conducted a CME Program on Common Lowbackache at Indian Institute of World Culture.
	On Dec 21st 2003	Conducted an essay writing competition for high school students on the topic “ Heavy School Bags – A curse on childrens back “.
	In 2004	Conducted a CME Programme on Common Neck Pain at IAS Officers Club.
	On 5th Mar 2006	Conducted a one day Workshop & CME Program on Holistic Treatment for OA knee at Nihar Orthopedic Centre, Hyderabad.
	In May 2005	Conducted a One day Workshop in Emergency Orthopedics at Vivekananda Yoga Kendra, Jigani.
	In May 2007	Conducted a CME Program on Holistic Treatment in Chronic Orthopedic Disorders.

Rakesh Cultural Academy (RCA)

Rakesh Cultural Academy is a separate wing of Karnataka Orthopaedic Academy and has been named after my son, Rakesh who is a musical child prodigy. This academy aims to promote music related activities.

Activities Of RCA

	On Jan 29th 2003	Conducted a state level music competition for children through Rakesh Cultural Academy at Swaranjali.
	On Apr 16th 2006	Rakesh and Priyanka gave a Music Performance at Indian Institute of World Culture.
	On Apr 29th 2007	Rakesh and Priyanka gave a Music Performance at Indian Institute of World Culture.
	In 2007	Established Tritheya, a Music School in Hindustani. The classes are conducted weekly by the renowned Pandit Nagabhusan Hegde of Mysore.
